I applied for a new account, when will I receive my new WellsTrade account number?If you applied for your WellsTrade account online, the last four numbers of your WellsTrade reserved account number will be displayed immediately on the final page of the application.
Once your account is opened, your account number will be available when you sign into your account and within your New Account Package under Statement & Docs.
How do I sign and return my account documents?If your account is eligible for electronic signature, you will be sent an email with instructions on how to access your New Account Package online and complete your account setup including how to sign documents electronically.
If your account is not eligible for electronic signature, your New Account Package will be sent via U.S. Mail and contains important documents for you to sign and return. You can also access all your account documents online under Statement and Docs.
When can I access my account online?In many cases, your accounts will be opened the same day or early the next day and will be available for online access. If not, you can expect your account will be opened and available for online access within 2 business days of receiving your application.
How do I view my new account online?You can access your account by logging into the Wells Fargo Mobile ® app. If you do not have access, follow these steps:

Do I need to link my WellsTrade account to my existing Wells Fargo Bank Prime Checking or Premier Checking account?
No. However, you qualify for additional benefits when you link your WellsTrade account to your Wells Fargo Bank Prime Checking or Premier Checking account; or a Private Bank Interest Checking account. 5 For information on how to link your WellsTrade account, please call Wells Fargo Premier Client Service at 1-800-742-4932. Whether it's for your newly opened WellsTrade account or an existing one, you have several choices available to you after we’ve received your signed account agreements:
With your Brokerage Cash Services feature, you can transfer funds between your banking and brokerage accounts and your WellsTrade account online — including certain non-Wells Fargo accounts - to easily make transfers or payments. (If you have a WellsTrade accounts without Brokerage Cash Services, you will be unable to transfer funds between brokerage accounts or non-Wells Fargo accounts online). Just sign on with Wells Fargo Online ® , and access the Transfer & Pay menu. You can make a one-time transfer or set up recurring transfers.
If you don't see a non-Wells Fargo checking or savings account you are looking for, you can simply add it to your Transfers list online:
Please note that any account owner of your WellsTrade account must also be listed as an owner on your linked bank account.
You can request to transfer funds between your WellsTrade account and other Wells Fargo Advisors accounts with the Brokerage Cash Services feature using the Transfer & Pay menu as described above. Your Brokerage Cash number will appear as a choice in the Transfer to and Transfer from menus. If you do not have this feature or prefer to transfer individual securities, please complete, sign, and return the WellsTrade Letter of Authorization to Transfer Funds or Securities (PDF) form.
You can easily consolidate accounts from other financial firms into your WellsTrade account. If you would like to transfer all or some of your assets from another investment firm you can do so online or submit a paper form:
Use the Wells Fargo Mobile app to deposit checks to your WellsTrade account with your mobile device 2 using your Brokerage Cash number, which is available when you sign on to Wells Fargo Online and on your WellsTrade account statement.

Contact your former employer or retirement plan provider to request that your assets be directly rolled over to your WellsTrade IRA account. They may require you to complete their paperwork in order to transfer the assets. They will need your new WellsTrade account number, so have your reserved account number ready when requesting your rollover.

When will I get my WellsTrade brokerage account statements?You will receive a statement at least once a quarter, and in any month that has activity, such as a trade, deposit or withdrawal, occurs in your account. Your statement reflects activity for the entire calendar month. It is processed after the close of the market on the last business day of the month.
You should receive your statement shortly after the end of the month. All statements will be accessible online, unless you choose to receive your statements via mail.
After we have received your signed account documents and your account is funded, you may begin trading.

Stock Fractions lets you buy in dollars instead of shares via the Wells Fargo Mobile® app. No more calculating how many shares you can get for your money. Simply choose the stock or ETF you want to buy, choose the amount you want to spend (from $10 to $25,000 per trade) and you’ll receive as many shares or partial shares as possible.
Which securities can I buy with stock fractions?Choose from hundreds of stocks and Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
When can I place Stock Fractions orders?Stock Fractions buys can be placed in the Wells Fargo Mobile app ® during regular market hours, 9:30 am – 4:00 pm ET, Monday through Friday (on regular trading days).
Will my Stock Fractions positions receive dividends?Dividends for fractional only positions will be passed on to you in proportion to the quantity you own.
Will my Stock Fractions positions participate in other corporate actions?Your eligibility to participate in corporate actions (including tender offers, proxy voting and other voluntary corporate actions) may be different for fractional shares than with whole shares. In some instances, you may not be able to participate in some corporate actions or exercise voting rights for your fractional shares.
What is Extended Hours Trading for my WellsTrade account?In addition to regular trading hours, trade eligible stocks and ETFs from 4:01 p.m. ET to 6:30 p.m. ET, Monday through Friday in an active, real-time, after-hours trading session on the Wells Fargo Mobile ® app. Extended Hours Trading has unique risks and may not be appropriate for all investors. Review the Online Extended Hours Trading Risk Disclosures prior to trading after-hours.
1. Teller deposits are processed through an associated limited-purpose Wells Fargo Bank account in your name, which is automatically opened upon establishment of your WellsTrade account (at no additional charge).
2. Mobile deposit is only available through the Wells Fargo Mobile ® app. Deposit limits and other restrictions apply. Some accounts are not eligible for mobile deposit. Availability may be affected by your mobile carrier's coverage area. Your mobile carrier's message and data rates may apply. 3. Enrollment with Zelle ® through Wells Fargo Online ® or Wells Fargo Business Online ® is required. Terms and conditions apply. U.S. checking or savings account required to use Zelle ® . Transactions between enrolled users typically occur in minutes. For your protection, Zelle ® should only be used for sending money to friends, family, or others you trust. Neither Wells Fargo nor Zelle ® offers a protection program for authorized payments made with Zelle ® . The Request feature within Zelle ® is only available through Wells Fargo using a smartphone. Payment requests to persons not already enrolled with Zelle ® must be sent to an email address. 5. Refer to the Wells Fargo Bank Consumer Account Fee and Information Schedule for further information about the Prime Checking and Premier Checking account and applicable bank fees. For The Private Bank Interest Checking account and applicable bank fees, refer to both the Wells Fargo Consumer Account Fee and Information Schedule and The Private Bank Consumer Deposit Products Disclosure. The Prime Checking account has a $25 monthly service fee. The fee can be avoided each fee period with $20,000 or more in statement-ending qualifying linked balances.
